SNA’s Confluence of Creative Expressions

The 17th edition of our annual October Rain juried art exhibition tagged ‘Cross current, is a group show organized in honour of Pa Timothy Adebanjo Fasuyi, a foremost contemporary Nigerian artist and former Art Advisor to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The array of works being displayed here today spotlights on diverse themes, styles, movements and subject matters in art and life in general. On this show, the participating artists use their awesome works to communicate possibilities while discharging positive, creative energies to the world. Both new and archival works by members of SNA (Lagos and Ogun Chapters) are featured. The genres and mediums explored in these visual libations are limitless. With the multiplicity of individual creative flows in Cross currents, our artists have successfully created a surging confluence of art expressions that will have a lasting impression on viewers. Also, this exhibition reconciles different generations of contemporary artists as it includes works by some of Nigeria’s legendary art icons alongside the works of other established and emerging names in the art industry.
