1499 ART FORCE II
An Exhibition by the 1999 Set of Auchi Polytechnic School of Art and Design
Hosted by Tim and Carol Gallery of Art
Tim and Carol Gallery of Art proudly presents 1499 Art Force II, bringing together members of the celebrated 1999 set of Auchi Polytechnic, one of Nigeria’s foremost institutions for art education and a significant incubator of contemporary artistic talent.
Featuring the works of Henry Igba, Asuku Musa, Nosa Osadolor, Titus Agbara, Dudu Emmanuel, Klaranze Okhide, Ola Balogun, Joe Nsek, Oisereme Pius, Franklin Enebeli, Imhonigie Imoesi, Ashikodi - Ebuh Okwudili, and John Oshoke Anabui Art Force II is both a celebration of artistic individuality and a reaffirmation of collective vision. Bound by a common educational heritage yet distinguished by unique creative trajectories, these artists demonstrate the richness and diversity that have come to define the Auchi art tradition.
The title 1499 Art Force II evokes unity, momentum, and creative resilience. More than a reunion, the exhibition is a reflection on time, artistic growth, mentorship, collaboration, and the enduring influence of the Auchi art tradition.
This exhibition also serves as a reflection on time and artistic evolution. From their formative years within the rigorous studios of Auchi Polytechnic to their emergence as accomplished practitioners, the artists represented here embody the enduring power of mentorship, collaboration, and creative discipline. while each work bears the distinct imprints of its maker, together they form a compelling visual conversation rooted in shared experience and artistic excellence.
