About the Artist

Kunle Adeyemi

He attended Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, University of Benin, Benin City and Lagos State Univer... He attended Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, University of Benin, Benin City and Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State, Nigeria, where he bagged a Higher National Diploma in Fine Art with specialization in Painting, Masters of Fine Art (MFA) degree in Graphic Design specializing in Printmaking, and Post Graduate Diploma in Education respectively. He holds a PhD in Studio Arts (Practice-Led) from the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, Nigeria. Former Vice-President, Society of Nigerian Artists. A onetime Chairman, Lagos State Chapter, Society of Nigerian Artists, Dr. Adeyemi, a former Head of Department, Graphic Design and Presently the Dean, School of Art, Design and Printing, Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos. his Alma mater. He enjoys motivating people around him for higher heights. By providence and act of God, he was the first graduate of the Ph.D (practice-Led) Studio Arts from any Nigerian University under the able supervision of a highly rated professor of Visual Arts and Art history, Professor Osa Dennis Egonwa. Kunle has delivered papers at both local and international conferences, seminars and lectures. He has had over 80 groups exhibitions and 20 one-man exhibitions to his credit. He is the Vice President, Visual Printmakers Association of Nigeria.
