Born in Bernin-Kebbi, Sokoto of Nigeria. On year 1961. He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as a painter 1987. While he was in Zaria, he s... Born in Bernin-Kebbi, Sokoto of Nigeria. On year 1961. He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as a painter 1987. While he was in Zaria, he studied under the painter and scholar, Gani Odutokun. Since graduating in 1988, he has understudied the printmaking techniques of Dr. Bruce Onabrakpeya, and is now a master printmaker. He has done a number of commissioners works and different cities in the United States of America. He is a member of society of Nigeria Artist (SNA), Lagos. Founding member of Otu Ewena Group of Artists Printmakers Association of Nigeria. He participated in the 1st Harmattan Workshops Series in 1998 till date, where he is Bruce Onabrakpeya Foundation (BOF) consultant. He attended the International Art and Culture Teachers Summer Workshop, organized by center for African Studies, Ohio State University Columbus Ohio, USA in collaboration with National Gallery of Art (NGA), Lagos. His works are in the collection of the former President of the Federation Republic of Nigeria (Chief Olusegun Obasanjo).
