Baliki Hails from Benue state Nigeria. A graduate of the University of Lagos with a degree in Visual Arts as a Textile Design Major in 2015. Subsequently, she has worked on a broad range of design projects across commercial, government and for non-profit organizations, with particular interest in Mural Design and Craftsmanship. She has participated in numerous art exhibitions across African countries. Remarkable elements of her work are the innovative combination of different mediums such as painting, textile design, photography and sculpture. As multidisciplinary artist, her works relates to people, their environment and the world around them. Audu is interested in the reciprocity of humans with nature and visualizes the process in different mediums. Her use of rich colours, vivid lines & textures or simple dots and monochromatic elements tell an unending story of visual exploration and expression. Her impressive fusion of painting, textile design, photography and sculpture create the unique visual language that resonates on her works subject.
